PTSD

Post-traumatic stress disorder—PTSD—is experienced by some people who have been traumatized by experiencing or witnessing a terrifying or life-threatening event.

Anything can be a trigger to release a visceral reliving of the terror response suffered during the event.

PTSD affects the nervous system. When undiagnosed and untreated, PTSD can manifest as almost any ailment or disease.
